There’s something incredibly special about documenting a family’s first days with their newest addition, especially in the comfort of their own home. Recently, I had the honor of capturing a newborn session for a lovely family in Kimberley, BC. Their baby boy was just a few days old, and with two older sisters and a yard full of chickens, this session was as lively and heartwarming as it gets.
The family’s home was the perfect setting for this session. Natural light streamed through the windows, highlighting the tender moments between the new baby boy and his family. As the baby snuggled peacefully in his parents’ arms or enjoyed a quiet feeding, his two big sisters filled the home with giggles and energy.
The girls were particularly excited about their backyard chickens. Watching them chase the chickens around the yard was a highlight of the session, their laughter echoing in the warm air.
